The experience

What Blue Collar is.

Blue Collar Boxing is a six-week fight camp at Different Breed Elite Fitness in Teaneck, built for the everyday man or woman who wants to train like a boxer without turning pro. Real technique, real conditioning, real discipline, and the mindset of a fighter, in a room that has your back.

From the first session to the fight on November 22 you go through everything a boxer goes through to step in the ring: the preparation, the commitment, the nerves. Then you actually step in.

Cross-training

Pilates, Mile Monday, and off-site outdoor conditioning build mobility, core control, endurance, mental toughness, and the thing you can't train alone: a team.

From the ring.

Three years. Real bouts. Real people with jobs.
Important

The fine print.

Fighter matching

The coaching team works to match every fighter for November 22. Matching considers weight, age, boxing experience, skill, readiness, safety, and anything else that affects an appropriate pairing. Every effort is made, but a matchup is not guaranteed.

If you're not matched

A participant who completes the program but does not receive a matchup gets one Personal Training session as compensation.

Fees + refunds

The $400 fee is non-refundable once you begin the program, except for injury. If you're injured during camp and can't safely continue, any partial refund or credit is reviewed individually, based on how much of the program is complete and the circumstances. Where appropriate, an approved credit may go toward Personal Training instead.

Safety clearance

Training does not automatically clear you to spar or compete. Coaches may modify training or restrict participation when needed for safety, readiness, or event requirements. Program logistics may be adjusted for participant safety or event operations.

Questions

Before you ask the front desk.

I've never boxed. Can I do this?

Yes. Most Blue Collar fighters walk in with zero experience. The six weeks are built to take you from stance and footwork to a real bout, with coaches watching every step. You need to be coachable and show up.

What is pre-camp?

Sunday, Sept 27 at 8:00 AM. It's the intro day: train, meet the coaches, see how camp works, ask questions. You must be registered for Blue Collar to attend.

When are the training sessions?

Four coached Blue Collar sessions a week: Tuesday and Thursday 6:00–7:15 AM with Coach Pablo, Tuesday and Wednesday 6:30–7:45 PM with Coach D.R.E.D. The schedule is confirmed at pre-camp.

Do I have to fight?

That's the point of the camp, and the coaches work to match everyone. Matching depends on weight, age, experience, and safety. If you complete camp and there's no appropriate opponent, you get a Personal Training session instead.

What does the $400 cover?

Everything in the package above: all six weeks of coaching, InBody scans, photos, media day, fighter apparel, Pilates, Mile Monday, outdoor conditioning, matching, entry to the fight, and your corner on November 22.

Is the fee refundable?

Not once camp begins, except for injury, which is reviewed individually. See the fine print above.

What do I bring?

Hand wraps, a mouthguard, training shoes, water, training clothes, and any required protective gear. The front desk sells hand wraps.

How do I register?

Hit any Register button on this page. It opens the registration form. Fill it out and you're in. Then come to pre-camp on Sept 27.
